Class Descriptions
We offer exciting and transformation yoga classes that are suitable for all levels and abilities. Classes encourage self-exploration, creative expression and body awareness. Be prepared to be reconnected, refreshed and rejuvenated!
Essence Soul
Discover your inner groove with this yoga and creative movement class. Students are encouraged to explore and express creativity through yoga and fluid movement. Soulful and modern music is integrated to create an uplifting class. The experience is fun, intense, invigorating and heat producing.
Sunrise Flow
What a wonderful way to start the day! This 45-minute class helps to invigorate the body, increase mental clarity, and wake the muscles.
Gentle Flow
Offers a great way to come back to center and gently work out the kinks and stresses of a hectic life. We’ll explore gentle flows and focus on the breath and relaxation.
Essence Flow 1
Introduces yoga postures and principles designed to build strength, flexibility, openness, and awareness into the body. It also gives an overview of the flow method. Classic yoga postures as well as modifications are introduced to give students many options in the development of a personal practice.
Essence Flow 2
Builds on previous yoga experience with an emphasis on helping the student develop stamina, strength, and a personal practice. The class refines the student's understanding of fundamental yoga principles and further explores the flow method as well as advanced standing postures.
Children's Yoga
We offer classes for children ages 3-6 and 7-10. Students will learn meditations, yoga poses, and yoga songs through telling stories and fun yoga games. Classes will teach children how to exercise, relax, and get in tune with themselves.
Beginner Bellydance
This class is designed for ladies who are starting their dance journey and those that want to refine or sharpen their moves. We will focus on basic, core movements and work on simple combinations. Students will also learn techniques to create sensuality, heighten coordination, and increase flexibility.
Private and Semi-Private Classes
Private instruction is great for those that want to explore yoga in a private setting or don't have the time to attend classes. Individual Private Session
In this one-on-one session we work to address your personal needs. The cost of one private in-studio session is $80 and the offsite rate is $100 for locations within the Washington DC Metro are.
Small Group Private Session
In our small group session 2-5 participants will receive in-studio instruction. The cost of one small group session is $110.
Medium/Large Private Session
In our medium/large session 6-18 participants will receive in-studio instruction. The cost of one medium/large group session is $175.

What to Bring
All you need to bring is YOURSELF! Mats and props are available for use during class. Mats are also available for purchase.
What to Wear
Please dress comfortably in slightly fitted clothing. Avoid wearing baggy clothing as it makes checking alignment difficult.
Arrival
Please try your best to arrive on time. Centering and meditation is done in the first few minutes of class; being present for this part of practice really makes a difference!
To Eat or Not to Eat?
Yoga practice is best done on an empty or near-empty stomach. It is advisable to eat no less than 2 hours before class.
Physical Injuries and/or Limitations
Please let us know if you have any physical injuries or limitations. We can teach you modifications to accommodate all yoga practitioners. Listen to and respect your body - if something doesn't feel right, please let us know immediately.
